JEAN CLAIR
is an art historian and curator. Among the institutions with which he has been associated are the Musée National d’Art Moderne at the Centre Pompidou and the Musée Picasso (where he served as director). His books include Le temps des avant-gardes and Malaise dans les musées, and he has edited and contributed to a wide range of exhibition catalogues.
